Terms of Service
Last Updated: February 15, 2026Welcome to MyContactCode. By creating an account and using our service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. MyContactCode is a service owned and operated by The Marcom Group Incorporated.
1. Subscription & Billing
MyContactCode operates on an annual subscription basis. Your digital business card, QR code, and hosting are provided as a service that requires a current, active subscription.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to an initial and recurring annual payment of $39.00 USD (or the current rate at time of renewal).
Charges on your credit card statement will typically appear as MyContactCode Subscription or MyContactCode Renewal.
(Note: Depending on your bank processing, charges may occasionally appear under our parent company, The Marcom Group).
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it prior to the renewal date.
2. Cancellation, Expiration & Re-subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will not renew for the next year.
- Your vCard link and Smart Contact QR code will remain active only until the end of your currently paid billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial years or unused time.
Expiration & Data Loss:
If your subscription expires due to cancellation or non-payment, your account is considered dormant. If you choose to subscribe again at a later date, this is treated as a new account.
Crucially: A new subscription will generate a new Smart Contact QR code and a new Profile URL. You cannot reactivate or recover the specific QR code pattern from a previously expired subscription. The old QR code will remain permanently inactive.
3. Service Availability & Liability
MyContactCode is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we are not liable for any interruptions in service, including those caused by third-party hosting providers or maintenance updates.
If your subscription expires, your Smart Contact QR code will immediately redirect to a generic inactive page. The Marcom Group Incorporated is strictly not liable for the cost of reprinting business cards, banners, signs, or any marketing materials containing inactive or expired QR codes.
We strongly recommend maintaining an active auto-renewal to prevent the loss of your specific QR code pattern.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to host, display, or distribute:
- Illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content.
- Malicious software, viruses, or phishing links.
- Copyrighted material that you do not have the right to share.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account found in violation of these terms immediately and without refund.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Marcom Group Incorporated shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Service.
